Brown and Cream version of the full size staunton chess set made from crushed stone and high quality resin to form a beautiful red staunton design. Since it’s made from stone it’s nicely weighted and feels solid and heavy. The pieces are felted on the bases, and the set is full size (King 4″). The whole design has an orthodox look and feel, especially in the King. The base measures 1.4″ so a board (not included) would need 1.75″ squares or greater. We feel that stone on our leather mat looks outstanding.

We can barely believe what our amazing suppliers have given us here. A terrific combination set that’s large (16″), and simply oozes quality. We specialise in Chess obviously (clue in our company name), but also love those other two great games, Draughts and Backgammon. Now…, this is a little different, it’s not the veneer we see in this type of product – it’s solid Acacia wood (so great a wood it blunts tools and makes the carvers crazy). The cabinet weighs substantially (2kg), and the chess pieces are double weighted. The King is 3″ high, the Draughts/Backgammon stones are 1″ in diameter.
