Brown and Cream version of the full size staunton chess set made from crushed stone and high quality resin to form a beautiful red staunton design. Since it’s made from stone it’s nicely weighted and feels solid and heavy. The pieces are felted on the bases, and the set is full size (King 4″). The whole design has an orthodox look and feel, especially in the King. The base measures 1.4″ so a board (not included) would need 1.75″ squares or greater. We feel that stone on our leather mat looks outstanding.

Beautiful very large dramatic set of chess pieces depicting the Viking Raiders in Cream and Brown and made with crushed marble. The King weighs over 120g, is 5″ high, and has a base felted diameter of 2″. The size of this chess set is only one of the stunning and remarkable aspects of the product.

The Vikings were a seafaring people from Scandinavia who lived from the late 8th to the mid-11th century. They were known for their raiding, trading, and exploration throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. The Viking Age began with their raid on the Lindisfarne monastery in 793, which marked the start of their period of expansion and influence.

Chess Board (not included) needs 2.5″ squares or greater. Please make sure you have the room for a large chess board.
