Beautiful very large dramatic set of chess pieces depicting the Viking Raiders in Cream and Brown and made with crushed marble. The King weighs over 120g, is 5″ high, and has a base felted diameter of 2″. The size of this chess set is only one of the stunning and remarkable aspects of the product.

The Vikings were a seafaring people from Scandinavia who lived from the late 8th to the mid-11th century. They were known for their raiding, trading, and exploration throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. The Viking Age began with their raid on the Lindisfarne monastery in 793, which marked the start of their period of expansion and influence.
